Dear Captain Rowe (Eli) and the Hatzolah Air Team, I am sitting here at my computer a few short hours after touching down at Westchester Airport in NY. Words cannot express how thankful my family and I are for the unbelievable kindness, professionalism, and heroics done for my son, Daniel. His leg was shattered in a skiing accident, and I spent a restless night trying to figure out how we could possibly get him home and to a trauma surgeon that would, G-d willing, set him on the road to recovery. But from my first conversation with Ben, his “can do” attitude put me at ease. We weren’t even sure it would be possible at that point to get a Medevac plane, but he reassured me that, one way or another, we’d figure it out and Hatzolah Air was there to help us...
